The Twain Harte Horsemen are gearing up for their annual Eagle Meadow High Ride.
It is finally time to sign up for the High Ride! Our High Ride starts with dinner on Tuesday, July 21st and ends with breakfast on Monday, July 27th. We are happy to announce that we will have the very talented chef, Mike Garman, to cater for our ride again this year. Every taste bud will be satisfied. Please remember to include a signed Release of Liability for all applicants and $350 deposit check for each applicant.

The $600.00 cost includes:
- Catered meals by Mike Garman Fixins’- starting with dinner on the 21nd and ending with breakfast on the 27th.
- Camp at Eagle Meadows horse camp site with portable hot showers and toilet facilities.
- Experienced leaders are available to guide riders, or you can ride on your own.
- Fun activities between rides include horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, bingo bonanza, craft classes, trail trials, a raffle and live auction.
- Ride price includes one bale of hay.

We are so excited for our High Ride every year. It is so nice to see so many horse friends who come from far and wide and to meet new horse friends too. We can’t wait to ride with you in July!

- LOCATION:Eagle Meadow Horse High Ride, Stanislaus National Forest
- DIRECTIONS:Head east on HWY 108 to Sonora
- REFUEL:If you need fuel it would be a good idea to get it around the Jamestown, Sonora or Sugar Pine area. There are no gas stations near Eagle Meadow Horse Camp.
- From the first Sonora Exit (Hwy 49), continue 43 miles east on Hwy 108 until you get to EAGLE MEADOW ROAD (Forest Road 5N01)
- TURN RIGHT (there is a sign that says Eagle Meadows & a camping sign pointing to the right)
- go approximately 0.2 mile and TURN RIGHT staying on 5NO1
- stay on 5NO1 approximately 8 miles to HORSE CAMP
- bear to the RIGHT at the curve after crossing bridge at Niagra Creek
- stay to RIGHT at the dirt road fork after BARN MEADOW onto pavement again
- head straight down the bumpy dirt road once you are off the pavement the 2nd time (downshift recommended)
- EAGLE MEADOW HORSE CAMP is on the RIGHT once you level out just before EAGLE CREEK
